MEET THE ARTIST

Hi I’m Mari! I’m an illustrator and comic artist with a passion for magical girls! Some of my favorite series include Tokyo Mew Mew, Shugo Chara, Cardcaptor Sakura, and Madoka Magica just to name a few…

I started my art career back in the early days of Tumblr where I would post random fanart and drawings of my OCs. I was also really into anime and webcomics at the time, but it wasn’t until 2020 that I started making my own webcomics and I haven’t looked back since.

I also make videos about my sketchbooks, vlogs, art commentary, and speedpaints over on my YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram!

Interests: YouTube video essays, internet horror(ARGs/unfiction), video games, lost media, figure collecting, 2D/3D animation, watching B-movies, robots, and monsters.

Current Project(s): “Malices of Magic” (working title) a magical girl webcomic I’m currently developing. You can check its progress over on its Tumblr blog.
